PULL-A-PART SUPPORTS COMMISSIONER LARRY JOHNSON AND HIS 23RD TREE OF LOVE

December 17, 2021

For the 23rd time, Dekalb County Commissioner Larry Johnson is hosting his Dekalb County Tree of Love. The Tree of Love is a holiday celebration established to help ensure that children in Dekalb County in less fortunate circumstances are able to have a merry holiday experience. Derick Corbett, SVP for Pull-A-Part, was one of the many community partners on hand to deliver toys to be placed under the tree. Pull-A-Part provided a large box full of toy trucks that will be wrapped by volunteers and placed under the tree.

Corbett said, "Whether it is foster care, single-parent households, low-income households, or myriad other reasons, there are a lot of folks right here in our community who need a hand, and we are proud to join Commissioner Johnson's Tree of Love endeavor. This is work he doesn't have to do, but because he chooses to, there will be a lot more smiles than there would otherwise be. Commissioner Johnson's work is just another example of what makes our community great."

The final event will take place on December 18, 2021, and anyone who desires to give to the Tree of Love can still do so by emailing larryjohnson@dekalbcountyga.gov.
