PULL-A-PART IS OPEN TO ALL™

Pull-A-Part is Open To All

Since Pull-A-Part first opened its doors in 1997, we have been a business open to everyone. From our team members, to our customers, and to everyone we work with and serve in our communities, we have always embraced diversity, equity, and inclusion as a business.

The conversation around diversity, equity, and inclusion has been more noticeable in recent years, and we embrace the opportunity to openly share our position on Pull-A-Part being a business that is open to everyone.

In 2020 we learned about Open to All® - a nonprofit nondiscrimination campaign that believes everyone should be welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, immigration status, religion or disability. Open to All believes we all have something to contribute and believes we can all learn from other. Finally, Open to All believes that when we work together, when we value our employees, and when we care for our customers and each other, we all thrive.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves and we couldn’t agree more. While Pull-A-Part has always conducted business this way, we wanted to pledge our support for Open to All and to do our part to raise awareness for this movement beyond our company. By taking the Open to All pledge, we are reaffirming our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and expanding our support for organizations and programs in our communities that are working to make the world a better place.

We officially announced our participation in Open To All in January of 2021.

Today we are excited to announce the first of many such efforts we will be supporting, in our signing of the Open-To-All Pledge. Open-To-All is a non-profit organization that partners with businesses to support diversity and inclusion.

When you visit a Pull-A-Part location or visit our location pages on our website, you may notice the Open to All logo. You’ll also see us listed as an Open to All business in business directories like Yelp that partner with Open to All.

We realize Pull-A-Part doesn’t need to join this program to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion – and that taking the pledge is not a substitute for us demonstrating our commitment through our actions as a business or individuals who represent the company.

Beyond taking the Open to All pledge, Pull-A-Part has embarked on an ongoing, long-term journey to train 100 percent of our employees across the organization on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, including specific anti-bias training, sexual harassment training, and similar instruction to help raise awareness and understanding around these important issues.

Pull-A-Part continues to embrace and support people, causes, projects and other initiatives dedicated to making the world a more inclusive place – with an increased focus on community-based, grass roots efforts. Pull-A-Part is not just part of the communities it operates in, but an active part of the community through our support and volunteer efforts in our neighborhoods.
