PULL-A-PART LAUNCHES “HELP FOR HONDURAS” TO HELP FAMILIES IN HONDURAS IMPACTED BY RECENT NATURAL DISASTERS

December 15, 2020

DORAVILLE, GA – In response to the impact of Tropical Storm Eta and Hurricane Iota had on Honduras, Pull-A-Part has launched “Help for Honduras” – an effort to raise awareness and collect donations for villages in Honduras significantly impacted by these natural disasters.

Pull-A-Part, which operates 25 retail locations in the U.S., has converted its seven of its Gulf Region stores into donation centers for the “Help for Honduras” effort. Customers will be encouraged to lend their support – either as $1 donation at checkout or through in-store donations of much-needed items, such as toiletries, non-perishable food items, medicine, sleeping bags, bottled water, and more.

“Our ‘Help for Honduras’ effort is in direct response to requests for help from several of our employees who have family members and friends living in Honduras who have been devastated by these storms,” says Ross Kogon, CEO for Pull-A-Part. “Our employees are family to us, and when they came to us, the decision to help was an easy one to make. We are very proud of how quickly our team has responded to begin collecting both funds and supplies we plan to deliver to villages we have learned are in the greatest need at this time.”

Pull-A-Part will continue its collection efforts for the next three months and plans to mobilize a team of volunteers from the company to travel to the impacted villages in Honduras to coordinate donations and provide further assistance on the ground. The company anticipates these donations will come at a time when aid or supplies from other sources may no longer be available.

Pull-A-Part asks that anyone interested in supporting its “Help for Honduras” effort visit their nearby Pull-A-Part store to make a donation. For more information on Pull-A-Part, including locations, directions, and hours, please visit http://www.pullapart.com.
